Reading

Reading a lot more was one of my New Year’s resolutions, along with limiting my screen time. The only thing that initially got me back into it was sticking to my two favorite genres: historical nonfiction or mysteries/thrillers. I usually recommend Kristen Hannah to my friends/family. She’s an intriguing but pretty easy read and writes primarily female centered nonfiction books – mostly historical which makes them informative but also emotional…. I finished her most popular books (Nightingale, The Women and Firefly Lane) in all less than a week if that’s any indication of how captivating they all are!
