The authors, both professors of Psychology and behavioral scientists, discuss how the political frustration may come from the simple fact that that one party views the sky as pink, while the other views the sky as purple – and how can you go from there? If we can never agree on a foundational truth, there is no room for an open, solely opinion based, dialogue. Without it, democracy, personal relationships, basic discussion are all at risk. Interesting but equally as frustrating – definitely a compelling read
